Supercharger

What is a supercharger?

A supercharger is a form of forced induction that forces more air into the cylinders of an engine to produce more power.

They increase the pressure of air pushed into the engine, making more oxygen available for combustion.

Unlike a turbocharger, a supercharger is mechanically driven by the engine, typically through a belt connected to the crankshaft. This provides immediate power without any lag.
