Range Anxiety

What is range anxiety?

Range anxiety is a term used widely about electric vehicles and relates to the fear that a car won’t have enough range to reach its destination, leaving the occupants stranded. As electric cars have a lower range than cars with conventional petrol or diesel engines – anything from 100 to 300 miles – range anxiety is cited as a major reason why some people are reluctant to switch to EVs.
