Nitrogen oxide (NOx)

NOx is a term that describes nitrogen oxides, harmful pollutants that are emitted by car exhausts and have been proven to have serious health implications. NOx also reacts with chemicals in the air to form soot particulates. Exposure to this soot can cause strokes, heart disease, lung cancer and respiratory infections.
