What does Euro NCAP do?
The European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) is responsible for publishing safety reports on all the new car models that go on sale. It awards these models star ratings – with five stars being the best – after subjecting them to a series of rigorous crash tests, including front, side and pole impacts, and impacts with pedestrians.
